The ProShares S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats ETF (NOBL) seeks to track the performance of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index, which consists of companies within the S&P 500 that have raised dividends annually for at least 25 consecutive years. The index requires a minimum of 40 such companies and ensures diversification by equally weighting constituents and capping sector exposure at 30 percent. If fewer than 40 companies qualify or sector caps are exceeded, firms with shorter dividend growth records may be included.
