iShares U.S. Treasury Bond ETF

The iShares U.S. Treasury Bond ETF (GOVT) seeks to track the ICE U.S. Treasury Core Bond Index, which measures the performance of U.S. Treasury obligations with maturities greater than one year. Eligible bonds must have a fixed coupon schedule and at least $300 million outstanding, excluding holdings by the Federal Reserve. Treasury bills, TIPS, zero-coupon issues, agency debt, and retail-targeted securities are excluded. The index is market value-weighted, rebalanced monthly, and cash flows remain until each rebalance. Managed by BlackRock’s BFA, GOVT employs a representative sampling strategy, holding a diversified selection with similar risk and return characteristics to the index....
