According to data by Trackinsight, U.S.-listed ETFs experienced a shift in investor positioning during the week ending July 24.

While equity ETFs recorded modest net outflows of $308.3 million, fixed income ETFs attracted $7.23 billion, commodity ETFs gathered $2.84 billion, and cryptocurrency ETFs added $635.6 million in net inflows.

Within equities, Health Care led sector inflows with $595.9 million, followed by Energy ($369.9M) and Consumer Staples ($353.1M). International markets also remained in favor, with Developed Markets attracting $2.13 billion and Emerging Markets $1.80 billion. South Korea continued to stand out, gathering $969.0 million, while U.S.-focused ETFs recorded net outflows of $5.31 billion.

Vanguard was the week's largest gathering issuer with $8.0 billion of net inflows, ahead of State Street Investment Management ($4.33B) and Invesco ($2.81B).

Among individual funds, SPY and VOO led inflows, while GLD ranked among the week's biggest winners as investors increased exposure to gold. The Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) also attracted a further $1.13 billion, extending its recent momentum.

The strongest ETF returns came from cryptocurrency mining and energy strategies. CoinShares Bitcoin Mining ETF (WGMI) climbed 12.7%, while United States Oil Fund (USO), Invesco DB Oil Fund (DBO), and USCF Oil Plus Bitcoin Strategy Fund (WTIB) all posted gains of roughly 9% during the week.
