Meet the New Allspring Trio

ALRG (Allspring LT Large Core ETF) follows a high-conviction, bottom-up fundamental approach. Managed by Neville Javeri and the Empiric LT Equity team, the strategy maintains a long-term focus—seeking to identify a select group of high-quality large-cap companies for portfolio inclusion. The fund combines fundamental analysis with a proprietary valuation framework designed to exploit price inefficiencies of companies relative to their future growth prospects.

ASCE (Allspring SMID Core ETF) employs a blended quantitative and fundamental investment approach. While many funds use one method or the other, ASCE leverages both. Led by John Campbell, the team applies a quantitative model that incorporates more than 150 valuation, quality, and momentum factors to screen U.S. small- and mid-cap stocks. The model produces a refined list of candidates for final qualitative review.

AUSM (Allspring Ultra Short Municipal ETF) focuses on delivering current income through investments in short-duration, high-credit-quality municipal securities. Investors may appreciate the fund’s blend of tax-free income potential and low duration risk. Managed by Nick Venditti and a team of ten municipal bond professionals, AUSM targets inefficiencies in the short-duration segment of the municipal yield curve while employing prudent risk management to deliver attractive after-tax income and total returns.

What Makes These Allspring ETFs Stand Out

ALRG, ASCE, and AUSM combine Allspring’s institutional expertise with insights gathered directly from advisors and investors—resulting in a lineup tailored to meet today’s evolving market needs. Each fund is built with a clear purpose in mind:

  • Complementary Equity Exposure: ALRG and ASCE deliver differentiated approaches to core equity investing—each with a long-term track record and a disciplined, repeatable process.
  • Tax-Free Income Advantage: AUSM offers a short-duration, tax-exempt fixed income strategy—well-suited for investors seeking yield with lower interest rate sensitivity.
  • Built-In Risk Management: All three ETFs are actively managed with embedded risk controls, designed to help investors stay grounded through changing market conditions.

According to Rick Genoni, Global Head of Product Development and Innovation and leader of Allspring's ETF initiative: “All three of these strategies were selected after extensive conversations with advisors about what their clients were looking for in an ETF, and I’m particularly excited we can bring one to market that can serve as an attractive cash alternative.”
