The SPDR Bloomberg 1–3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL) seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the performance of the Bloomberg 1–3 Month U.S. Treasury Bill Index. This index measures the short-term U.S. Treasury market by including investment-grade bills with maturities between one and three months. The fund uses a sampling strategy, meaning it does not need to hold every security in the index but instead selects a portfolio with similar risk and return characteristics.
