In February 2025, the New York Stock Exchange announced it would move its Chicago branch to Dallas, reincorporating it as NYSE Texas. The move was more than geographic.

It marked a shift toward Texas’s growing role as a financial powerhouse.

By late March, NYSE Texas officially opened for business, with Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) becoming its first listing.

The exchange, operated by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), became the first operational securities exchange based in the state of Texas—home to more NYSE-listed companies than any other state, with over $3.7 trillion in combined market value¹.

Strive Makes History on NYSE Texas

Now, NYSE Texas has taken another major step: Strive Asset Management has become the first ETF issuer to dual-list on the new exchange.

As of July 24, 13 of Strive’s ETFs are now dually listed on NYSE Texas, including:

While the funds will continue to trade on their primary listing at NYSE Arca, the dual listing reflects growing interest from issuers in NYSE Texas as a pro-business alternative.

“At Strive, we believe capital markets thrive when they prioritize innovation, meritocracy, and maximizing shareholder value,” said Matt Cole, CEO at Strive. “That’s what’s happening with NYSE Texas, and we’re proud to be the first ETF issuer listed on the exchange.”

Timothy Reilly, Head of Exchange Traded Solutions at the NYSE Group, added: “ETF listings on NYSE Texas will further support the capital market community emanating from the state of Texas.”

NYSE Texas Moves First as Exchange Competition Heats Up

Strive’s dual listing comes just as Texas starts to emerge as a new battleground for stock exchanges.

Another exchange, the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE), is in the works and aiming to launch in 2026. Backed by big names like BlackRock, Citadel Securities, and Charles Schwab, TXSE is promising a modern, fully digital platform with lower fees and a more issuer-friendly approach.

But for now, it’s still waiting on regulatory approval and hasn’t opened for trading.
