How the TEC ETF Works

TEC targets 35–60 high-potential companies—large or small, across any sector—that are leveraging transformative technologies to reshape how industries function and consumers live. Think AI-powered platforms, next-gen cloud infrastructure, fintech disruptors, and biotech breakthroughs.

Actively managed by the veteran growth equity team at Jennison Associates, TEC invests at least 80% of its assets in companies expected to drive or benefit from major technological shifts. Its non-diversified structure allows for bold, high-conviction positions, with the flexibility to invest up to 20% outside the U.S., including in emerging markets.

The fund primarily holds U.S. common stocks and ADRs, and it’s benchmarked against the Nasdaq-100 Index—home to the most innovative non-financial names in the market.

Backed by deep, bottom-up fundamental research, Jennison seeks companies with visionary leadership, clear growth catalysts, and the potential to outperform. ESG considerations are integrated when material, adding another layer of insight to the selection process.

With an expense ratio of 0.69%, TEC offers investors a focused and forward-looking way to tap into the technologies set to define the next decade.

Why Investors Should Consider TEC

TEC is built for investors seeking focused exposure to the technologies transforming our world. With Jennison Associates at the helm—renowned for their deep experience in growth investing—TEC aims to uncover tomorrow’s leaders early, before they become household names.

The fund taps into powerful innovation themes such as AI-driven cloud computing, next-gen semiconductors, and cybersecurity. For growth-oriented investors, TEC can serve as a dynamic satellite position—or even a core holding—within a forward-looking equity portfolio.

“Don’t let the current noise in the system distract you. Tech continues to be all around us, and there are more disruptions and investments taking place every day,” said Kristof Gleich, President & CIO at Harbor, “ And while TEC focuses on transformative technologies, its exposure expands beyond information technology. The team will invest across industries as the opportunity landscape evolves—I am personally very excited about some of the healthcare transformation we’re likely to see in the next decade.

We believe all holdings are actively driving disruptive change by offering, using, or developing products, processes, or services that seek to provide or benefit from technological advances and improvements. I’m blown away by the potential!”
