Harbor Capital Advisors officially launched today its new ETF, the Harbor AlphaEdge Large Cap-Value ETF (
Access Trackinsight's reliable and comprehensive data with 500M+ points on 14,000+ ETFs.
This ETF is designed to closely follow the performance of an index created by Harbor Capital Advisors. The index includes U.S.-listed companies that are considered attractively valued and have strong financial and price characteristics. The ETF invests primarily in the stocks that make up this index.
The process involves selecting the top companies from the 1,500 largest U.S. firms based on factors like value, momentum, and quality. These companies are then optimized to create a portfolio that aims to outperform a benchmark index (the Russell 1000 Value Index) on a risk-adjusted basis.
The index is rebalanced monthly, and the ETF holds the same stocks in similar proportions. The ETF may also hold cash or money market funds.
VLLU carries an expense ratio of 0.25%.
For long-term oriented advisors who seek to replace Russell 1000 Value beta exposure with a more efficient solution, the Harbor AlphaEdge Large Cap-Value ETF (VLLU) presents a compelling solution.
“We hear advisors are seeking greater returns from their value allocation, to help address regime changes and increased bouts of market volatility over time. VLLU, via tracking to the Harbor Alpha Edge Large-Cap Value Index, seeks to provide a more sustainable and compelling value solution,” Kristof Gleich, President & CIO Harbor Capital Advisors.
